Privacy Policy

How we handle your data.

This policy explains what personal data Distributed Analytics Solutions Ltd ("DAS", "we", "us") collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. Last updated 12 August 2026.

Draft pending legal review. This policy reflects the site's current functionality (a static site with a mail-draft contact form and, when enabled, privacy-conscious Vercel Web Analytics) and should be reviewed by DAS's legal advisor before the site goes live, and again whenever functionality such as the Resend-backed contact form or Google Analytics is added.

Who we are

Distributed Analytics Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11567424, VAT No. GB 318011347), registered office at 30 Churchill Pl, Canary Wharf Estate, London E14 5RE, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

What data we collect

  • Contact form. When you use the contact form, your name, email address, enquiry type and message are assembled into a draft email opened in your own email client. This data is not transmitted to or stored by DAS's servers at the point of submission — it only reaches us if and when you send that email yourself.
  • Analytics. If enabled, Vercel Web Analytics collects aggregated, privacy-conscious usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device/browser type, referrer) without using cookies or tracking individuals across sites.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may retain standard technical logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and operational purposes, in line with Vercel's own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site does not currently set cookies. If that changes — for example if Google Analytics or another cookie-based tool is introduced — this policy will be updated and a cookie consent mechanism will be added before that change goes live.

How we use your data

Any enquiry you send us is used only to respond to that enquiry, and to maintain a record of our correspondence with you. Aggregated analytics data is used to understand site usage and improve the site's content and performance. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you have initiated) and, where applicable, to take steps prior to entering into a contract at your request. We process aggregated analytics data on the basis of legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.

Data retention

We retain correspondence arising from enquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to address the enquiry and for our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Aggregated analytics data is retained in line with the relevant provider's standard retention period.

Third parties and processors

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Depending on which enquiry method you use, your message may pass through your own email provider, or (once implemented) through Resend, an email-sending service used to deliver contact form submissions to DAS. We only share data with processors who provide appropriate safeguards for personal data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict our use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we have not handled your data appropriately.

Contact us

For any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us via the contact page, or by writing to us at the registered office address above.
